Celebrate a life well-lived with a meaningful, compassionate ceremony. I’ll help you create a tribute that honours your loved one’s memory and brings comfort to those left behind.

How Can I Support You

When someone close to you passes, it can be hard to know where to begin. That's where I come in -  to help guide you through planning and delivery of a ceremony that feels right for your person.

If you choose me as your celebrant, you'll receive a bespoke, professionally written service that reflects the character , values, and life story of your loved one.

Each funeral is shaped around your wishes. I'll help you choose songs, poems, readings or prayers - or we can create something that includes no religious content at all. The service can be led entirely by me, or I can and support family members and friends who wish to take part.

Working With Funeral Directors

If you haven't contacted me directly, it's likely your funeral director will be in touch on your behalf. Once I receive the details, I'll arrange a meeting with you.

This usually happens in your home, but if you'd prefer, we can meet somewhere that feels more comfortable - service room, a quiet cafe, a community space, or another location that suits you.

When we meet, I invite you to bring along anyone you feel may have something meaningful to contribute - people who knew your loved one well and can help paint a fuller picture of their life and character.

This is often close family and friends, but if someone can't attend, they're welcome to send a few memories or reflections by email. Just let me know in advance so I can confirm I've received their words.

You don't need to prepare anything formal, but it can help to reflect on stories, quirks, habits, or sayings - anything that made your person them. I understand this is a tender time, and I'll approach our conversation with care, patience, and respect.

What We'll Talk About

The aim of our meeting is to understand who your loved one truly was - beyond just dates and milestones.

You might tell me about:

Their passions and hobbies

Favourite places or songs

Memorable holidays

Their sense of humour

What made them laugh

Their work, habits, or even routines that meant something to them

Everything you share helps me craft a ceremony that feels personal and real - something that truly honours their life and brings comfort to those who gather to remember them.
At the meeting, we'll also discuss some of the practical elements of the service – including music choices, hymns or songs that hold meaning. We'll talk about readings or poems, and whether any family members or friends would like to participate in the ceremony.

Together, we'll shape a service that feels true to your loved one, and to the people who gather to remember them.

On the day of the service, I'll arrive in good time to greet you at the venue and deliver the ceremony with calm, professionalism, and dignity.
